More about Thomas J. Smallwood

A letter from Thomas

Hello friend,

Thomas J. SmallwoodMy name is Thomas and I have a family of 4. I have a beautiful wife, Brittany and 2 children: a daughter, Arielle and my son Adrian, which I named him after my younger brother.

I got started with computers at a very young age, which my inspiration stems from video games. I was like any other kid that took advantage of every second possible to play video games that my parents allowed me. So when I found out that I can make a video game from a computer, I was floored. I felt like I found my calling at a young age which it really did because computers have came a long way.

I got extremely active with computers  in middle school while I was living in Japan.  I was raised in a military family where we traveled a lot. I visited & lived in a few countries.  While I was in Japan I had this fantastic teacher that opened up a programming class that were available to the honor math students and fortunately we had enough students to sign up to open the class. He taught qbasic & c++. I had a friend in the class where we both were highly droven about this and we came after school to soak up more. Where we eventually made a video game  and I took my skills home and ended up creating a pokemon video game for my brother.

Thomas J. SmallwoodSo that was my basis of where my programming experience came from. Through my middle and high school years I kept striving to get better with computers and making video games.  Which became a little more difficult when I moved back to the states,  because I didn’t have the same tools but this made me more resourceful and once I discovered search engines  I felt unstoppable.  I made my first website in high school for a group of my friends where they had a band. That started a snowball effect where I began building websites for friends of friends and people I came across.

Over the years I started perfecting my talent in both web & software development. While in college I scored an awesome internship at Capitol Hill in D.C. and I was working with the foreign affairs committee doing web & software development work, updating their website & creating touch screen applications for their tablet pc’s. I received excellent experience working with them and my supervisor was pushing me to start my own business and look for contract work. He took me under his wing and taught me how to go about looking for contract work and the importance of building rapport with everybody you meet because people make your business.

From there I was introduced to a guy named Michael which he worked for Def Jam Thomas J. Smallwoodand he was an A&R rep for an popular artist at the time Roscoe Dash. He needed my services and he knew how to introduce me to a lot of label upcoming artists. So I moved to Atlanta, GA and this is when I registered my business Kwagu LLC and started freelancing any possible project that can be handed my way. This is what gave me my versatility because I never liked saying no. I took on every project and if I didn’t know how to do it, I figured out how to do it or who can do it.

Did this for a couple years until I was introduced to Chuck Mullaney. I knew of him as an successful internet marketer and he came across my resume and reached out to me. I was very excited because I knew of him before he knew of me and I came running all the way from GA. I enjoyed the partnership and projects I worked for his company, Pajama Executive. Learned priceless information about the Internet Marketing world and I have improved dramatically in my web development skills.

This is when I came to Kwagu LLC, networked all the relationships I have built over the years and formed the best web development company on the Internet. I now spend my days enjoying my time with my family and helping others achieving their goals and success online!

Thanks for learning more about me! :-)

Sincerely,

Thomas J. Smallwood
